Our business is owned by four individual entrepreneurs with a vision for developing a creative community, supporting our local economy, and sharing knowledge that helps businesses grow together. Some of our owners offer individual services in their area of expertise. Together, we have a wealth of knowledge around building, marketing, and sustaining a personal brand. Jo Mahaney
Cofounder, CEO
Jo is the CEO and the initial vision for the Virginia Creative Collective, a marketing strategy expert and Wedding Photographer. A Stauton native, born and raised, Jo has a special way of bringing her fearless spirit and tremendous work ethic together to uplift and unite the small business community. She strives to provide support across many platforms, supporting everyone from working mothers and industry leaders.
Amanda Shrader
Cofounder, Marketing Director
Amanda is a founding member and Creative Director for the Virgina Creative Collective. She is known for so many talents including, Graphic Designer, Instagram Guru, passionate Wedding Photographer as well as CEO and founder of The Skirt Project! Her empowering nature drives her creative energy which brings a unique vision to our Studio. If you have never met Amanda in person you are missing out on a joyful and empowering experience that only Amanda’s full heart and free spirit can bring to life.
